About Us

Jugrnot Speed Shop was envisioned by Mark Agan and Joshua Walton as Jugrnot Racing in our high school years. While working on cars in our family's shop we learned invaluable lessons.  At a young age we were wrenching on, building, modifying, and racing old classics, muscle cars, and later model vehicles from Ford, GM, and Dodge performance vehicles.  This created a passion for cars that would last a lifetime.  By the time we got our first cars we couldn't wait to start modifying them.  Our car dreams always revolved around the Mustang, even when we didn't have one. Then the day came when we finally got some cars of our own, then it was literally full speed ahead! Between the both of us we have owned and modified more than two dozen Mustangs to date.  As we all know, life happens and we had to go our separate ways for some time so the dream of Jugrnot Racing would have to wait.  As much as we hated it, it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. It allowed us to gain so much more life experience, knowledge, and drive to follow our passions.  Through this drive and determination came Jugrnot Speed Shop.

Here is a little background information on us individually:

Joshua Walton/CEO/Mustang and F-series specialist, I was raised just outside of Birmingham, Alabama and came from very humble beginnings.  I grew up loving to be around cars.  Being around automobiles at a young age, I was engulfed in the hot rodders/racers lifestyle. It hasn't stopped since.  A few years after high school I joined the Marine Corps.  Joining the military was one of the best decisions I ever made.  I learned so many valuable things while serving with some of the best people I ever met in my entire life!  They will always be family. “SEMPER FI.”  The increase in leadership traits, determination, drive and motivation to do anything you put your mind to were all big bonuses.  As a young Marine, I was fortunate enough to have great leaders to mentor and train me to be the best.  Then, as time went on I became the leader and mentor to Marines as we worked in various locations around the world.  As an Amphibious Assault Vehicle mechanic/maintenance chief I had a vast knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems. The transition to working on these vehicles was pretty simple due to my previous years of working on cars and trucks from a young age. The passion for working on and racing cars never left either considering I spent my free time doing those same things with friends.  I was continuously giving advice, expertise, and help to many people along the way to help them achieve their goals.  After several successful years in the Marine Corps I decided to continue to pursue our original dream. After being honorably discharged I attended Nascar Technical Institute to further develop my mechanical skills and learn more about the later model vehicles. Some courses included general automotive, Nascar fabrication, and the Ford motor company program to become certified on all aspects of Ford vehicles.

Mark Agan/COO/ Mustang and F-series specialist, I was raised in a small town just outside of Birmingham, Alabama.  My love for automobiles started at an early age.  The first time I heard the rumble of a muscle car I was hooked. By the time I entered high school, cars had become an addiction for me.  I spent more time in the automotive shop with my teacher than I did in the actual school.  I worked hard and was eager to listen to anyone that was talking about cars or were willing to teach me anything about a car.  I was fortunate to have someone who was willing to put me to work in his personal hot rod shop after school and teach me the trade.  I left for Nascar Technical Institute when I was 20 years old to fine tune all the information I had been taught over the years.  I applied myself throughout the program and graduated fully certified in Ford vehicles.  My career started in a Ford dealership working as an engine and transmission technician.  When I decided to leave the dealership, I took a mechanics position in an independent shop with a few guys who had taught me about cars along the way.  I was able to secure plenty of work back at the old hot rod shop I grew up in and continue the fun of modifying cars.  I went back to North Carolina a few years later and started multiple mechanical and oil change shops with a friend of mine. After many successful years running our own business we decided that just wasn't the direction we wanted to go.  We sold the business and went our separate ways, which has now made it possible for Josh and me to come together and follow our original dream and form Jugrnot Speed Shop.

Our mission is to provide quality proven performance products with outstanding customer service from a trusted source that puts the customer first.
